Service Description
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency lifesaving procedure performed during cardiac emergencies. The CPR method encourages blood flow and increases a person’s chance of survival. In addition to learning and practicing step-by-step CPR procedures, course participants will learn how to assess the scene of an emergency, call for help, and clear a person’s obstructed airway. CRP training for adults, children, and infants is available. An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a medical device that can analyze the heart’s rhythm and, if necessary, deliver electrical shocks to help restore a person’s normal heartbeat. The use of an AED can help extend a person’s life until trained medical staff can intervene. AEDs can be purchased and used by anyone, but proper training helps ensure the device is used appropriately and effectively.
