Mental Health First Aid

Service Description

This course is intended to teach participants how to recognize, understand, and respond to mental health emergencies. Participants will learn how to identify risk factors and warning signs, strategies for aiding someone experiencing a mental health crisis, and where to go for additional help. The course will give a brief overview of psychological disorders and substance abuse issues, as well as provide an action plan participants can use if they encounter a person in need of intervention. Course cost: $70 per participant or $60 per participant with group packaging
